How long will the repair of my vehicle take?
Every repair is different but the biggest factor on time of repair is the speed of which your insurance company authorises the work to go ahead and the availability of any parts that might be needed to complete the repair.
Every repair follows this process -
The vehicle is initially appraised via photos if drivable and on-site if it’s immobile.
The vehicle is then estimated and a quotation for the repair is sent to your insurance company for authorisation to repair.
When the repair is authorised then the repairs can commence and any parts required can be ordered.
Parts suppliers will give us an estimated delivery date for parts and provide a warning if parts are back ordered or on a long lead time.
Damaged parts will be stripped off, mechanical parts will be replaced, panel work will be carried out.
The vehicle or individual panels will then be prepared for paint (if required).
The vehicle will be refitted back together and then a first stage quality control check is carried out.
After passing the first stage QC, the vehicle will then have any post repair calibrations undertaken such as wheel alignment, ADAS calibration, etc
The vehicle will then be cleaned and presented for final quality control checks.
Once QC is passed then the vehicle will be prepared for handover back to you.
